We’re in our third week of shooting for season two of Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory, and so far, we’ve shot some pretty ridiculous stuff. Already, we’ve had Ken Block and John Mayer come out to shoot with Rob and the gang. Most of the time, we’re ready with a crew when big name guests come through the doors of Rob’s warehouse. When we do find out late, the only option is to run down there with a hand-held camera and try to shoot as much as we can. A couple of weeks ago, Snoop Dogg visited Rob and Drama down at the Fantasy Factory, so I had to get my ass down there with a camera. The audio is pretty shitty, but when Snoop starts freestyling into a Flip camera, you’ve just gotta roll on it and hope for the best. Hopefully, we can get him to come back for an episode. Just in time for the Fourth of July, here’s the third installment of The Big Ass Happy Family Jubilee. But before I get started, if you live in Southern California get to out to see Roger Alan Wade this Friday, July 3rd, at Barnacles Sports Bar in Mentone, CA, or at the Hootenanny in Orange County, CA, at Oak Canyon Ranch on July 4th. He goes on to Main Stage B at 1:30pm. Then on Sunday, July 5th, he will be in Fresno at Audie’s Olympic Club. I will definitely be at Hootenanny and I am contemplating hitting one or both of the other shows, so I hope to see you there.

On Show 7 below of The Big Ass Happy Family Jubilee that me and cousin Roger Alan Wade do on the Sirius/ XM Outlaw Country Channel, you will hear how me and the boys almost get evicted again from our offices at jackassworld and Dickhouse. Talk about touchy landlords! You’ll also get to hear about an old minstrel singer named Emmit Miller who influenced Hank Williams and a lot of other people. Show 9 we dedicated to Paul Newman after his passing. I read a short bio Paul Newman had written once on himself and it is funny, smart, and sweet, just like the man. Show 10 is dedicated pretty much to recounting my One Bourbon, One Scotch, and One Beer interview with the Great Khali and talk of his small wee-wee.

Sure, we could have posted up that she’s now 38-years-old, but what’s the point of that? Especially when she’s not and she’d probably (no, make that definitely) kick my ass up and down Sunset Blvd. until I walked like some of those shmen that awkwardly strut the blocks over on Santa Monica Blvd. in their high heels. My memory is usually pretty solid—or so I like to think it is up until I see stuff like my new user ID photo that I found on Facebook and can’t even recall the f’ing thing ever being taken. What’s up with those tube socks, anyway? Was I trying to compensate for the short shorts? No wonder my mind excommunicated the episode from its congregation of fond memories. Anyway, once again I appear to have made a synaptic shit instead of a mental connection and I cannot for the life of me remember what preceded this photo that I ran across while pilfering random images from the jackass number two “Louisiana” folder. Clearly an argument has taken place between professional camerabros Rick Kosick and Dimitry Elyashkevich … one that was apparently so serious (and laughable, given Cordell Mansfield’s expression) that Kosick felt the need it be decided in the tried and true manner of fisticuffs. So please take this opportunity to put yourself in their argumentative place and give it the old creative captioning heave-ho: What could have possibly instigated this situation?

Following in the footsteps of our master wordsmith, Sean Cliver, I decided to use the 13th installment of the mail to not directly talk about the mail at all, but instead to plug a great, somewhat forgotten record from 1995 by my friend Loomis’s old band, Wax. The Thirteen Unlucky Numbers album is currently out of print, but you can score used copies for a very affordable price and it is well worth it. Oh, and while you are at it, you might as well check out Loomis’s newer solo efforts, available directly from him (should you catch him walking the streets of Hollywood) or on iTunes. Just remember to please not touch him. Loomis is generally not a big fan of human contact.

It also seems fitting to plug yet another album currently available by some new friends of Steve-O, the Canadian metal outfit, Anvil. Their most recent album, This Is Thirteen, proves Lips and Rob still have the chops they possessed back in 1982. And, if you haven’t heard of them, it is well worth checking out their recent documentary. They are not Spinal Tap, but the closest thing you’ll get to one of the greatest fictional bands ever.

As for the mail this time, I decided to take a new route and give out the mailing address on-screen during the video. Hopefully that will give the proverbial mail-donkey the kick in the ass it desperately needs. Thanks as always to everyone that continues to send us stuff. Michelle was all over the first installment of the mail and has made numerous appearances ever since. Dare I say that she is our most devoted mailer? Big thanks also to Kevin in Glasgow. I’ll try to figure out a way to send you a football, but it won’t be easy.  Also, thanks to Juli for the inappropriate stickers. And who can forget Guy Hickey and that awesome statue he made for Steve-O?

If you’ve been following Erik Roner and Andy Bell on “Tweeter” then you know darn well that they’re currently throwing, jumping, and slamming themselves all around the country for the upcoming second season* of Nitro Circus. While many of the crew’s high-flying antics and digestive hi-jinks are being kept under wraps for now, here’s a look at some of the more innocent backseat man-on-man action that goes on while driving between locations. What this does remind me of though, is a time long, long ago on a Big Brother tour, circa 1994, when Jeff Tremaine did this very same thing to Steve Berra (I want to say he also tried it out on Rick Kosick, but I don’t think it worked out too well due to some irreconcilable differences in size). Seeing as Tremaine was the one who snapped this particular photo it would certainly appear that the vaunted puppet master is still up to his old tricks and pulling strings behind the scenes.

In true Hollywood fashion, the fabled red carpet—or at least a very small remnant of which—was thrown out onto a sidewalk in Westwood, CA, for the west coast premiere of The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia at the Los Angeles Film Festival. Westwood, in case you don’t know, is a district of Los Angeles where all the UCLA-types are quarantined (and with good reason, as evidenced by the contents of a local pub we descended upon later that night), but that had no adverse effect upon the good ole time being had over at the Majestic Crest theater. A full video expose is coming just around yon bend, but for now here is an “as the crow flies” look at who was who in photos from the night to whet and familiarize your whistle.

Throw out your milk cartons and call off the search! Seth has been found and lo and behold it was right next to Ben Daughtrey, editor on The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia.

The film’s composer Deke Dickerson was on hand to entertain the crowd as everyone waited for the stars to make their grand entrance. Good thing, too, because Mamie and Jesco had stopped off at the bar with Johnny Knoxville beforehand and barely made the scheduled showtime.

Don’t ask me what happened with those other winners, though, because: a) we couldn’t find them; or b) they were too intimidated to approach Wolfie and Rick Kosick.

I’m no new age nut but there certainly appears to be something going on in the cosmic cards right now that does not bode well for celebrities. First it was Ed McMahon on June 23rd. Then came Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson on June 25th. And now we’ve lost Billy Mays and Fred Travalena on June 28th. It’s almost as if the Grim Reaper has finally succumbed to the celebrity fascination that has long since swept the nation, and stalker rags such as US Weekly and People just aren’t cutting it for him on the toilet anymore. Not to discount Mr. Travalena’s contributions to entertainment history, but Billy Mays did inspire a few pieces here on jackassworld. As such, here’s our final farewell to TV’s legendary advertising pitchman.
