The other day I made an offhand mention that Wolfie and his wagon wheel appeared to be the next of Siamese kin to Chang and Eng Bunker. More than a few interpreted this freakish association as an act of meanness, and for that I do offer up my utmost apologies.

On Saturday, June 27th, the MTV Films and Dickhouse-produced documentary The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia made its west coast debut at the Majestic Crest theater in Westwood, CA, during the Los Angeles Film Festival series. What a mouthful of factual shit that was.

In true Hollywood fashion, the fabled red carpet—or at least a very small remnant of which—was thrown out onto a sidewalk in Westwood, CA, for the west coast premiere of The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia at the Los Angeles Film Festival. Westwood, in case you don’t know, is a district of Los Angeles where all the UCLA-types are quarantined (and with good reason, as evidenced by the contents of a local pub we descended upon later that night), but that had no adverse effect upon the good ole time being had over at the Majestic Crest theater. If you ever really wanted to know what goes on behind-the-scenes when we shoot at jackassworld here is a pretty good example. It's really true that after all these years we're still pretty much flying by the seat of our pants to create content; you'd think we'd be a bit more "professional" by now

So if you've noticed a momentary lull in the wheels of production here at jackassworld the past few days it's because we, like every other major entertainment studio in Hollywood, have been gearing up for the release of our surefire summer blockbuster hit bonanza: Wolferine.

Needless to say we've gotten more than our fair share of mileage off these plastic footballs. And for that I really do owe an apology to Preston Lacy. When five boxes of these promotional things washed up on our doorstep like refugee children from some war-torn, poverty-stricken Third World nation
