movie review – lucas
This is a unique movie sort of meant for families that was filmed in a town I grew up in. It is one of those movies shot in Chicago essentially. The others, all the rest that is, were shot in New York and LA, great! America is so extensive. Anyway, Corey Haim plays this accelerated kid that ends up in High School early and falls for a tennis/cheerleader-type that likes him, but “not in that way.” Lucas wants some fuckin’ box, but she won’t give it up; instead falls for hunk Charlie Sheen. Lucas ends up getting mashed on the football field trying to impress the girl. The real tail was Charlie’s ex, Courtney Thorne Smith, and even more applicable, Winona Ryder! Yes, in her first feature, playing an alternative chick that has the hots for Lucas. It’s weird, he just doesn’t care or something; that is why Lucas is a weirdo. —Earl Parker (more…)

Of course, it was just a matter of time.
Well then, what should we discuss today: as a member of the crew and a supporter of JAW and other things besides, i.e. including friends with many of the members of this site, I declare myself ‘at long last’ back on top of the world, known as earth @ large. THE view is breathtaking, as I take a can of pop from my micro fridge: I take a can of pop from the jackass fridge; I speak to people while my wallet overflows. Member at large, hardcore user of awesome words, I write books and make movies about myself and travel the world—as well as, get stuff published all the time, famous balls: this is the key to being on top—getting stuff published is something that’s brand new in the world and takes considerable talent and finesse, doing stuff that’s not putting a rock in the hole, no. And I’ve “still got it,” according to some, even post-high school. “He can still write shit, he’s still got it, and so I do,” I said. In this day and age everyone has a computer except me. My apartment is computer-less but then I “come in here” and then I’m on top of the world now and the keys fly and go off and shit, and I’m funny, too.
