So check out this more true to life take on the Superman ride, as Erik Roner and Travis Pastrana leap off this structure in a single thrilling bound. Through no great leaps or bounds of the juvenile imagination, I’m guessing that Travis may have grown up with the occasional name of “Pastrami” being thrown his way in moments of mockery. (Granted, any bullies that may have done so are probably eating their own words right now as their fat going nowhere asses fill out the sofa recliner with a sixer in one hand and 12-inch hoagie in the other while watching replays of Travis doing double back-flips on ESPN.) In this particular stunty instance, though, Travis could have easily wound up as a brutally shaved pile of pastrami strewn all over the desert landscape. Propellers are no joke, so make sure you catch tonight’s episode of Nitro Circus at 10:00pm ET/PT on MTV to see how everyone yuks their way through yet another breath-holding moment with Travis.

This morning, guitar legend and pioneer Les Paul passed away at the rockin’ old age of 94. For those unaware of his impact upon music history, Les was responsible for developing the solid body electric guitar and numerous recording innovations that allowed rock ‘n’ roll to be the sound it is today. And with that in mind, here is a playlist of all the music videos to be found in our archive, including Turbonegro, HDR, CKY, Chris Pontius, Loomis, Dale Watson, The Virginia City Revival, and The Deadly Syndrome. Rest in rock, Les, because peace is for acoustic hippies. (more…)

Last Friday, Steve-O hopped onto the live web cam feed to chat for a bit (five minutes, to be precise), although he didn’t exactly chat so much as he did write about his thoughts on Ryan Sheckler. For those of you who might’ve missed this appearance of Steve-O’s, here are his words:

“Hello Everyone, it’s time for me to type super fast and share my thoughts.

“I’m going to give myself five minutes and start by saying that Ryan Sheckler is fucking gorgeous. (more…)

In this special sneaked peek, Steve-O talks about his occupational days spent as a clown prior to achieving basic cable fame on MTV. This is, incidentally, the flea market circus that he was liberated from in the late summer of 2000 by Johnny Knoxville, Jeff Tremaine, and the jackass production crew—yes, the very same circus where Steve-O had saved up bins of maggot-infested elephant shit for one of the cockamamie stunts he wanted to perform. Set your viewing sights accordingly on Sunday, May 3rd, to witness the debut of Steve-O: Demise and Rise at 10:00pm EST/PST on MTV. (more…)
