Once upon a time the staff of Big Brother skateboard magazine convinced Slayer to go to Disneyland with them to conduct an interview and hang out in the happiest place on Earth. I know, it sounds like yet another fable of the Brothers Grimm just waiting to be dumbed-down, sugar-coated, and computer-animated for the slack-jawed general audience masses, but in truth … well, it is the honest to god truth. We did go to Disneyland with Slayer and it was the happiest place on Earth for us to be, especially when former professional skateboarder Lance Conklin leaped off the elevated Monorail platform to plunge down into the depths of the submarine ride below (a park attraction that has since been transmogrified into a more marketable platform for that gimp-ass clown fish who shall not be named here).
