Or should I ask, “Where are these wild things going to?” Surely it’s not to the premiere of Spike Jonze’s Where The Wild Things Are, because the film doesn’t even open until October 16th. And they’re a million-billion miles from India where grown men that are friends do this very thing like it ain’t no thing on a daily walking basis (and no, this isn’t just limited to the district of West Bollywood; it happens the whole country over). Anyway, your guess is as good as mine as to where these two fellows are off to, but wherever it is let’s just hope they hold dear to Danger Ehren’s motto: “Safety first!”
P.S. I normally don’t break stride in these posts, but I’m presently sitting in a cafe in Playa Negra, Costa Rica and Alphaville’s “Forever Young” just came on the sound system. I know, you’re like, “So the fuck what? You like queer old ’80s tunes, keep it to yourself,” but one of my favorite online promos for jackass number two was a slideshow of photos set to this song. Deal with it. I am.
