I don’t know if Jim DeChamp accidentally offended this officer earlier in the day or what, but when he volunteered to stand and be counted on the pepper spray test I doubt he had any clue that his face was about to be painted up like the Great Pumpkin. Seriously, talk about getting the raw end of the firing line deal. The officer might as well have taken a bucket of this inflammatory crap and just dumped it over his head.

What I don’t understand, though, is that after watching Johnny Knoxville do this way back in 1998 when it first appeared in the Big Brother video number two on the “Self-Defense Test”, why didn’t anyone with a two-percent clue bother to have gallons of milk on hand to help neutralize the agent? I mean, water? WATER?! Jesus, guys, the reactive irritant in pepper spray, Oleoresin Capsicum, is already housed in water! So adding more water to the mix just compounds and spreads the problem, e.g. having to pour more water down the front of Jim’s pants.
