Exhibit A: Streetbike Tommy!

So, after a good bit of investigative journalism into the Street Bike Tommy misspelling matter, it turns out that we’re not the big morons here after all. That’s right, it’s not us—it’s THEM! The very Nitro Circus production itself. Witness Exhibit A above, the introductory title sequence to the show. There, in fancy-ass big-dollar graphics package fashion, is the root of the problem. Could this have just been an accidental oversight on someone’s part? No, not at all (even if two out of the six official Executive Producers have admitted spelling issues). And to pound this point out I happily offer up two more examples of this errant use of Street Bike Tommy’s good name:

So who is to blame in this epic graphics failure? I don’t know, but it’s not us. That’s all that matters to me. What I do take blame for, though, is following the lead of some other idiot, which just goes to show that it doesn’t pay to be a lemming in life. But it certainly does seem like a funny thing to catch at this stage of the production game, though, doesn’t it? You know, what with twelve episodes of ‘Nirto Circus‘ under the bridge and a whole new second season about to kick off on Thursday, August 27th on MTV. Hmmm… I’m beginning to smell a publicity stunt. Mark my word, next thing you know, weird topless photos of Street Bike Tommy will be surfacing on Perez Hilton. Or here.
