This song portrays fatherhood from the perspective of a twenty-something year old Waylon Jennings nut who loves his daughters dearly. I wrote this song when I was young and over the years it has taken its own design. All the main characters in the song remain happy and healthy and beautiful. I’m so proud of my girls. They are loving life, chasing dreams, and raising amazing families. Shandy, Jessica, and Cheyenne are the best things in my life. I love being their father. —Roger Alan Wade
