jackass 2.5 – this saturday night on comedy central
Best case scenario: It’s summertime, it’s the weekend, and you’re out living life like you’ve never lived it before. Worst case scenario: It’s summertime, it’s the weekend, and you’ve got nothing but nothing going on. Should the latter be the case, do not despair for all is not lost … yet. I actually wish Robert Frost was still alive because I’m sure he would’ve written some timeless rhyme regarding the network television broadcast of jackass 2.5 this Saturday, June 20th, on Comedy Central at 10:00pm.
Heck, death be damned, let me see if I can find something vaguely tweakable of his to poetically mark the occasion:
Dust in the Eyes
If, as they say, some dust blown in my eyes
Will keep my talk from getting overwise,
I’m not the one for putting off the proof.
Let it be overwhelming, a might poof
From rounded cheek, blizzard snow for dust,
And blind me to a standstill if it must.
Voila. With but a few minor nips and tucks, Robbie’s words are now waxing poetic about the scene from “Butt Bellows,” when Steve-O came face to face with Preston’s mighty wind. A priceless moment indeed.
