Here is a photo I took with my Fujifilm Instax 200 instant camera. I snapped it of my hero Street Bike Tommy in Downtown LA after he tried to unsuccessfully (that’s successful in my book) ride down a flight of concrete stairs on a motorcycle. He f’ed his back up pretty good and we were taking a huge service elevator back down to the ground. Tommy went to the hospital to get checked out, but ended up being relatively okay with just a bad contusion to the ass bone. He was so sad in this shot, but it wasn’t because of the injury. He was upset because he was going to miss lunch. Not joking. Anyway, Street Bike Tommy, like the rest of the Nitro Circus cast, has a good perspective about painful moments like this. He says, “It’s better than hangin’ sheetrock, Knox. It’s better than hangin’ sheetrock.”
