The other week I had a few family members in town and decided to ask for (and got) a day off from work. But while I was gone my office members decided to play a prank on me. And from what I hear they have never worked harder on anything. Before I go any further, let me set up what happened on my end.
Late that Tuesday afternoon (on the day off) I received a phone call from Rick Kosick telling me that his car had broken down and that he needed a lift. My first reaction was to ask why wasn’t anyone else available to pick him up since I don’t really live that close to Rick. He told me that others (like Seth) were busy or couldn’t be bothered, so he called me. I told him I would pick his lovely ass up and take him with me to work. Little did I know that they had a camera set-up in the office to get my reaction to a prank.
I gotta admit I was pretty impressed by the work they did. They not only moved my entire desk out into the common area of the office, they moved one of my bookcases (that had to be undrilled from the wall), my dub rack, and miscellaneous binders and tape elements. So for the rest of the day I squatted in the common area of jackassworld, trying to do my job, while the cameras rolled and plastic footballs went flying by.
I should also point out that quite a few members of the jackassworld community were accomplices to the whole thing, making comments and suggestions the entire time.
Well, there you have it. Here is the footage of what happened on that day.
