steve-o: demise and rise – the nitrous clip

This past Sunday, Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, and Rob Dyrdek verbally tossed to this 30-second excerpt pulled directly from the Steve-O: Demise and Rise special that is set to debut this coming Sunday, May 3rd, at 10:00pm on MTV. I have to say, of all the footage from the increasingly nightmarish confines of Steve-O’s old apartment just off the Sunset Strip, the nitrous oxide huffing episodes are some of the most disturbing to watch. I’d long heard about his marathon whippet sessions throughout the years, the sound of which seems far more harmless than the actual sight, so it was rather unsettling to finally see him rapid-firing his way through canisters of nitrous like a Gatling gun mowing through rounds of belted ammunition.

Chris Pontius is famous for the line, “That was intense, really intense. Well, not really intense, but pretty intense.” Make no mistake: This is intense. Really intense.
