I have been wanting to re-do the Michael Peters’ dance-steps to Michael Jackson’s “Beat It” video for quite a long time. So you can imagine how psyched I was when Rob Dyrdek asked me and Eddie Barbanell to be in his dance video on the Fantasy Factory. I immediately had them go out and get the Michael Jackson outfit for Eddie and the white Michael Peters outfit for me (if you have seen the video, choreographer Michael Peters is the head of the rival gang and is dressed all in white).

I felt bad for Rob, because he had a 103-degree temperature and Eddie and I didn’t want to stop dancing. Well, maybe Eddie did, but I wanted to DANCE, DANCE, DANCE! Tremaine had warned Rob if I got excited this shoot was prolly going to take a lot longer than previously planned. Even as sick as he was though, Rob was a gracious host and didn’t say no to one thing we wanted to try. Most of all, I really liked Eddie’s effect on Rob. When Eddie informs Rob he is on the Board of Directors with the Special Olympics and then gives him the “There is no such thing as I can’t” speech, it really put Dyrdek on his heels. I think it was then that Rob realized Eddie was the smartest person in the room, but that’s usually the case with Eddie. He is the smartest and funniest person in most any room. Anyway, thanks for letting us stop by Rob.

Sincerely,
Knoxville
