black black, the new full-length release by loomis

Whoo! It’s been four years too long since the last full-length effort by Loomis, so we’re more than happy to announce the release of his latest album Black Black. In the days to come we’ll be rolling out some behind-the-scenes material to promote Black Black (not to mention a fine addition to the jackassworld shop), but why not run over to iTunes in the meantime to acquaint yourself with the tracks and drop a few nickels in Loomis’s pocket. The Captain thanks you in advance! (more…)

steve-o – behind the scenes at dancing with the stars

Last night, Jeff Tremaine, Cordell Mansfield, and Shanna visited with Steve-O prior to his tackling the Lindy before a live studio audience that included Phil and April Margera. Like any good gorilla, Tremaine assisted in some final grooming work on O’s upper chest area, while Cordell just stood around looking handsome (fortunately he did not want to smash Steve-O’s boldly striped shirt—you never know what will irk Unga and send him into a caveman rage). Tune into ABC’s Dancing With The Stars tonight, when two couples face elimination and expulsion from the televised dance floor once and for all. (more…)

will whore for food – the ninja blade video game campaign

I know this may come as a surprise but I used to be into comics when I was a kid. Well, probably well past the point of being a kid, but hey, I had a social void to fill and what better way to do so than following the musclebound antics of psychologically conflicted men and women in tights. Or at least that’s the genre I started out with. Like any good OCD case study, I dove into the medium headfirst and eventually clawed my way straight down to its most base and entertaining bottom with Robert Crumb’s equally conflicted T&A fantasies. photo of the day

Here is a photo of prolly one of my biggest fans ever. That sounds weird and a little vain to write, but he sat near us at the WWE match where I was upset by the Great Khali. He had this girl hold this sign over his head the entire time he shouted for me to sit next to him. I walked over and said, “Hello,” and he quickly whipped out ten copies of the magazine cover I did for Out, asking me to sign them. He was a sweet guy, but he kept quoting every sentence from that accompanying article, preceding each line with, “And it was really cute when you said….” I was really touched.” Not only by his hands but also by his earnest enthusiasm in meeting me. It was also the first and only time I have ever had a fan weep when I told them goodbye. It was a little crazy, but I hope he is somewhere and doing well.

Sincerely,

It was only a matter of time before the allure of Hollywood struck the Nitro Circus crew. So here they are in the lesser traveled roads of Tinseltown on “Hollywood Nitro,” where they rev up the loopy laws of physics with professional stuntman and Arnold Schwarzenegger double Monte Perlin, kick-start Steve-O’s begrudging and short-lived affair with the motorbike, and get wild behind the wheel with Gary Coleman and a gaggle of Scott Rogers’ vehicular stunt coordinators to present “The Abduction.” But that’s not all, because no trip to Hollywood would be complete without a swell day at the beach, where Nitro EPs Jeremy Rawle and Gregg Godfrey go for broke in the shore break. You may not see his name flung much about the site (not unless it’s Seth hijacking his computer for a random topic posting about “eating poo”), but make no mistake: Derek Freda is the backbone of jackassworld. (more…)

I guess I am a fully grown adult-type person. I only seem to watch the nightly news. I don’t have cable, or else I would watch CNN. The CNN building is near my pad, and sometimes I go up there and watch their outside monitor. None of this is very fun. Also, I listen to talk radio a lot and this plus the news adds up to a lot of carnage. I don’t really understand it all; nor do I understand why that is all I watch. I am lazy: I tried to be a TV writer and failed. As a result I thought so much about TV that it just kind of blurs together. (more…)

link of the day – puppetry of the penis

http://www.puppetryofthepenis.com/

Hmmm… this rings a genital bell, doesn’t it? But why is it that the Australians are always on the performing arts tip of the penis? First Pricasso, now these two wankers … where Crocodile Dundee and Steve Irwin left off it would certainly appear that the talent down under has officially grabbed its down under status by the balls. But since we’re on the topic of cock soldiers, let’s redirect you to another dick trickster right here in the underpants archive of jackassworld, namely Bill Weiss and his landmark nude 540…

When we first caught wind of Rob Dyrdek’s new show and its proposed title, it didn’t take a Harvard-grade jokester to figure out that the opening theme song had to be the inscrutably classic ’80s track “Fantasy,” by Aldo Nova (although perhaps minus the whole “powder pleasure in your nose tonight” line). True to absurd form, however, Rob took it twelve steps further to enlist the throwback skills of the LA-famed group Steel Panther, formerly known as Metal Shop (among others), to ram it through their glam metal meat grinder. Here’s the back story behind the music as only Rob could tell it. (more…)
