jackass archive – snake river bmx
I’m not exactly sure this phrase has been coined yet in the entertainment industry, but I’ve since gone off the grid to pirate the jackass archive posts and turn them into “tent pole promotional spots” for the upcoming episodes of Nitro Circus. This has nothing to do with camping or pitching a tent in my shorts, mind you; it’s merely a figure of speech used to prop up and support the show during the mid-week doldrums. But if you think about it—well, not that it requires much thought, if any at all—the stunts on Nitro Circus are often like a hopped up version of jackass on a PCP and steroid speedball. Take this “Snake River BMX” clip, for instance, and compare/contrast it to the promotional clip for this coming Sunday night’s episode of Nitro Circus (no, I swear this really is the correct one this time). When you’re finished with the assignment, please put it face down on my desk after class.
