music video – “d-r-u-n-k,” by roger alan wade (the recut)
So I asked Seth Casriel to compile drunk footage of me and all the boys, because I wanted to turn it into a video for my cousin Roger’s song “D-R-U-N-K.” Seth happily agreed … wait a second, I don’t think that’s how it happened at all. I think Seth cut together a video of all of us drunk, and put it to my cousin’s song as a surprise to me. I think my only contribution to this video was asking Dimitry to film Roger lip-syncing to the song while we were in Tennessee filming the video for “The First Time I Saw Waylon.” Luckily, Dimitry obliged and Seth cut that footage into what you are about to see.
I’d like to thank my cousin Roger for writing a great song, Seth for putting together a smashing video, Dimitry for shooting part of the video, and I would like to especially thank me and all the boys for being so goddamned drunk in the video. I hope you enjoy.
