jackass unseen – the jogging tricycle

warning
These webclips feature stunts performed either by professionals or under the supervision of professionals. MTV and the producers must insist that no one attempt any activity performed on the site.

Okay, now I’m sure one of you little wise asses is gonna say, “No, that’s not unseen. I’ve seen that before!” But no, no you have not—not in its entirety. What you have seen is the one brief moment when Preston Lacy propels Wee Infant into a bush (from the intro montage to jackass season 3, I believe), but that’s as far as your eyes done did see because that’s all we wanted you to see back then…at least in the televised sense. But now with the Interweb and shit, the true meal to be made out of this dud of a shoot can be seen when Dimitry and Wee Man butted heads during a laughable creative stand-off.

What’s most interesting about adding this clip to the archive, though, is that nearly a year ago now—January 30, 2008, to be precise—I’d talked about this very thing in one of our earlier “photo of the day” posts. So in the spirit of regurgitation, here it is once again (plus it will give you a slightly better eye on who Wee Man is bickering with):

Although it’s not exactly uncommon to see a smile on Dimitry Elyashkevich’s face, it’s not exactly a common sight either. There is, however, one scenario in which he can almost always be counted upon to get extremely giddy and that’s whenever anyone else around him is grumpier than he is. Not an easy thing to do given his classically dour Russian heritage.

On this particular day in 2001, we’d hit the streets of Los Angeles without much of a clue as to what we were gonna film other than Preston Lacy pushing Wee Man around in one of those off-road jogging strollers. However, it was only out in the field that we discovered the stupid thing was too small to accommodate Wee’s hammy ass. So there we all were, standing around on the sidewalk with the wheels falling off our production, when Wee Man started to get real crabby and short with everyone. Unfortunately, as you can see here by the unabashed look of glee on Dimitry’s face, it’s rather hard to take a pissed-off man in a diaper and baby bonnet seriously.

Since that time, Dimitry has written several more bits involving Wee Man in a baby bonnet and diaper, the majority of which have all ended with Wee Man grumpy to some extent—much to Dimitry’s delight.
