Hello everybody! I would first like to take the opportunity to thank everyone this past year that has sent our little organization some love in the mail. Our mail deliveries have completely run the gamut and have included everything from original paintings and drawings to puppets, gadgets, T-shirts, kind letters, nice cards, profane (but well-meaning) notes, letters, Beelie-Bops, stuffed animals, postcards, kidnapped dogs, male thongs, bears in cans, and even baked goods. It might not always come across as well as it should because some of us are not used to receiving gifts from people we have never met, but I guarantee you that we absolutely enjoy every piece of mail that graces our post box. In other words, when one is really masterful at dick and fart jokes, the social skills usually suffer.
2008 was a very good year and jackassworld is getting better and stronger every day, mostly in part because it is aided by the love and support of our community. It still blows my mind when I think about the time, care, and attention that are given to many of these packages as they grace the door of our dungeon-like office. As some of you are well aware, we don’t have any windows, but the kindness of our fans definitely helps brighten the place up. Seth’s Wolf Den™ wouldn’t be anywhere as festive as it is without all of the pictures from the community, and it definitely makes it easier for me to go and confront Wolfie daily about some miscellaneous office dealings when I see his ever-growing collection of hand puppets on the shelf behind his head (Thanks Annie from Michigan!).

At the office, I already have a large pile of new mail that came in over the last few days of 2008 that we did not have time to include in this post. So, as you can see in the photo below we already have some stuff to open for your viewing pleasure in early 2009. Be sure to check back for it soon.

I hope you all had a great Hanukkah, Christmas, and/or Kwanzaa. And, we can’t forget about Boxing Day for our Canadian colleagues and friends like Lauren Graham, Dania, and The Fire Hair Man. Thanks to everyone who sent us mail this time around, especially Carly-Rebecca’s slow traveling package, Marie in Australia’s expertly packaged box of Christmas cheer, and Sima’s box which traveled the longest distance from the Middle East.

I hope that 2009 is off to a great start for all of you. Thanks again from all of us here at jackassworld.
