Loomis Fall was such a trooper at the winery in Paso Robles that it’s only fitting we take two last glances at his performance there. The first, of course, is the before. Well, no, that doesn’t make much sense at all now, does it? I mean, this photo is much more of a “during” moment than anything else. But he does look quite relaxed and happy, the way most wine connoisseurs prefer the experience to be. There are others, though, who ardently take the bottle to task—although perhaps not quite to the exponential degree of Loomis’s flash flood to the liver—and that’s where the darker side of wine is found. And by “darker” I mean as in “light’s out!” because that’s exactly what happened in this “after” shot of Loomis passed out on the backseat of the van.
