So here is my good friend and lead singer of Sign of the Fox, Handsome Jack Polick, guest bartending at the Three Clubs bar in Hollywood, California. He guest bartends there every Friday night and he specializes in exotic mixed drinks. People come from miles around for his Cosmos, Apple Martinis, and Lemon Drops. Anyone can open bottled beers and pour highball drinks like rum and Coke’s all night long, but it takes a true artist to mix juice, booze, and ice like Handsome does.
He is a real people person as well. Most bartenders would be furious if you ordered three Cocksucking Cowboys and after they are set on the bar go, “Oh yeah, can I get just one more?” They would probably refuse and say something like, “Hey bub, you shoulda asked while I was just making them.” But not Handsome Jack. With him the customer is always right. So if you are looking for the best cocktails in Los Angeles go into the Three Clubs on a Friday night and visit Handsome Jack Polick. Woohoo! —Knoxville
