jackass archive – stilt fall

In preparation for the red, white, and blue fiesta known as the 4th of July here in the US of A, we discovered that Steve-O’s “Stilt Fall” follies from the old jackass television show never made it online with everything else when it was supposed to. Granted, there was that god awful and untimely crash that happened the night of the 24-hour takeover, but I don’t think this file went missing in the process then. Anyway, it’s back now, and we’ll soon be conducting search and rescue missions for a few other segments that appear be lodged in the same server crack, like “Tar and Feather,” “Door Bumper,” “Dimitry the Terrible,” “Johnny Bloxville,” “Tube Jumping,” and the “Steve-O Doubleback.”

For celebratory historical purposes, the “Stilt Fall” was a prankish matter filmed back in Orlando, FL, when the whole cast was assembled there for two weeks of mass fun and misfortune. Most of this trip took place on the abused shores of Camp Pain, but the guys were granted leave on occasion to go interact with the public. Since so many of the cast members were on hand at once, two crews were usually broken off to maximize footage throughout the day (this also fueled a competitive spirit that only made matters better—0r worse, depending upon your perspective). On this occasion, however, the dueling crews collided on the streets of Orlando, resulting in a surprise “antiquing” courtesy of Wee Man and a hit-and-run sabotage.

The stilts were, of course, broken out a few more times on this trip: once at Camp Pain for elevated boxing purposes (and shortly thereafter a high altitude poo), and then a tall walk off a tall pier at the local high-diving facility.
