When the Wildboyz went to India in 2004, they learned the world was a whole lot freakier there than most any other place they’d traveled (excluding Louisiana, of course, since they didn’t tackle that deep, dark and dirty territory until 2005). Extra thumbs, tiny dancers, and ridiculously big fucking feet were just a few of the oddities they’d encountered, but up around Jaipur, the “Pink City,” Chris Pontius and Steve-O met two dudes that were the Indian equivalents of jackass cast members…only creepier and slightly more annoying. The one shown here, Chotu, was the more stunty of the two (Gauri was by far the creepier), and he kicked out a surplus of jams that were dispersed between the assorted India episodes of Wildboyz. This one, the “Jeep Pull,” was weeded out through natural selection, although the wrap-up hysteria nearly salvaged it from the DVD extra scrap pile (it was our incompetence, however, that kept it off the Seasons 3 and 4 DVD collection altogether).

Incidentally, this bit (and all the other Chotu stunts) were filmed in the village of Chokhi Dhani just outside of Jaipur. We later returned to this village for jackass number two in 2006, and after two or three days of flops, DVD extras, 2.5 fodder, and one freak dust storm that momentarily turned our world a whole lot more brown than usual, the words “Chokhi Dhani” finally supplanted “Bread Suit” as the official jackass codeword for a failed fucking bit.
