the original van toffler mural, part 3

warning
These webclips feature stunts performed either by professionals or under the supervision of professionals. MTV and the producers must insist that no one attempt any activity performed on the site.

So this is the last installment of our Scott Aversano Mural Adventure. It started out simply enough. We wanted an artist named Van Toffler to paint a comely portrait of two dudes bonking each other missionary style on the office wall of the then MTV Films President Scott Aversano (that the dudes just so happened to look like Jeff Tremaine and me was total coincidence). Anyway, if you haven’t seen the previous installments: the mural was drawn, Scott loved it, we later got wind the mural was going to be painted over, we very stealthily went to Paramount in jumpsuits in the middle of the day, cut the wall out, got busted by the Paramount police, came back later to retrieve what is rightfully theirs, and then got blindsided by a ransom note for the wall. Talkin’ about dirty pool!

Well, before you view the denouement (that’s French for “cocksuckers”), I would like to thank the Paramount police for being good sports and not taking us to the real jail. Also, everyone in the main Paramount building whose day we disrupted, thanks for letting us bug you. Thanks to Deuce (Van Toffler, Jr.) for drawing the mural and a great big Dickhousean hug to Scott Aversano for his sense of humor throughout the whole ordeal. We wouldn’t go to this much trouble making someone’s life hell if we didn’t like them. Actually, you know that’s bullshit. We would go through this much trouble to fuck with someone we didn’t like, but for the record we sincerely do like Aversano. He is an asshole just like us and we hope this is the beginning of a beautifully dysfunctional friendship. And although we had no inside help whatsoever from anyone named Luke Ryan, Shay Weiner, or most of all Will Shapiro, we would like to thank them, too, just for being the sweet, surreptitious, and cooperative people they are. Okay, kids, here you go.

Love, Knoxville
