Nowadays it’s hard to ascertain whether or not there’s any truly “unseen” Steve-O material out there (especially after our old “Too Hot” tape slipped out into the world and several other bits were funneled back into his self-produced DVD series), but for now I’ll just pretend this went sight unseen and hope for the best. Filmed on the haphazard fly in a parking garage during our first trip to Miami, FL, in 2000, this footage never made it to air on the television show for relatively obvious reasons. It did, however, inspire the later seen bottle rocket footage with Steve-O and Chris Pontius in jackass the movie.

By the by, our very first run in with the O and his penchant for the rocket’s red glare off bare buttocks first took place during the Big Brother Florida tour in January 1999. For whatever reason, Brickell Avenue was the designated Cape Canaveral for the night then, and it was a real team effort on the part of Steve-O and his overwhelmingly enthusiastic launch pad (who just so happened to have smacked the shit out of Rick Kosick’s bare bottom the night before). There would be no point in mentioning this Class C shit if there wasn’t some kind of photographic accompaniment for all you little Francis Scott Key’s to whistle along to, so here you go—straight from the straggling remainders of the Big Brother photo archive.
