No matter how much some would like, there are certain things that simply cannot be controlled on the set of a movie shoot—first and foremost being weather. This can be especially frustrating here in the southern California area where you’re pretty much conditioned to expect a whole lot of sunshine and not much else. But even California has its wet season—a few weeks in March, basically—and our filming shoots up at Gary Leffew’s ranch in Nipomo, CA, just so happened to coincide with one of those pissy, grey days. We were able to squeak out the “Wee Matador” and “Toro Totter” segments just before the clouds burst, but a momentary damper was placed on our hurried prep-work for the “Yak Charge.” So here’s a moment from the interim, where we have Jeff Tremaine and Johnny Knoxville huddled up under an umbrella, waiting for the rain to break before bringing in the yak to break Knoxville. As usual, the two appear to be ass-deep in contemplating great and wonderful things…and I’m now leaving it up to you to have your wayward way with whatever these may be.
