Unless Greg Wolf is wildly mistaken, which really isn’t out of the question, it would appear that all the extra footage and outtakes from Season 3 of Wildboyz never made it onto the final DVD collection. If that truly is the case then you’re in for a special treat with this segment filmed down at a nudist colony in Slidell, Louisiana, circa some random month in 2004. I believe this elderly gentleman was billed as the “world’s oldest living nude magician,” but I swear his life support systems crapped out for a good few minutes in the middle of this illusionary feat.

In an unrelated footnote to the nude magician, I was particularly fond of the nudist colony segment because it inadvertently brought an old skateboard graphic of mine to life: a World Industries Chico Brenes pro model from 1994 with a “nude beach” theme. Jeff Tremaine realized this as well and called me up all excited during the shoot to say he’d just witnessed my board graphic in full dick-swinging action.

The Brenes Nude Beach remains to be one of my more favored designs, if only because it had everything going against it but hit the production line nevertheless. I mean, what teenage kid in his right mind would walk into a skate shop and buy this board with a bunch of naked old people with saggy boobs and elderly junk? It was pure anti-marketing at its finest—the antithesis of what our stupid consumerist world has become.
