I’m pretty sure some kick-ass stuff aired in hour 20, like Manny levitating alligators, befriending bears, and groping sharks, but one of the funniest things the last hour has been following Lance Bangs around the back hallways. But first a little history on Lance. We first worked with him on jackass the movie, where he was our behind-the-scenes cameraman. Ten months later he was prominently featured on the silver screen puking after Dave England prematurely shat himself in the van and then puking and passing out while the guys were all doing “Paper Cuts” in the hotel room. He also had a really bad habit of falling asleep around the cast and crew while on set. Skip a few years ahead to jackass number two, where Lance found center screen yet again, this time in the middle of Steve-O’s butt chug. There we were, trying to film Steve-O squirt the contents of his ass out, when Lance starts uncontrollably giggling off to the side. So much so that we have to stop filming Steve-O and start filming Lance who’s now gasping for air with tears running down his face. Anyway, you get the picture (especially if you saw Mianus): Lance = bonus footage, and he’s paid off once again. In hour 20 he went somnambulistic, stumbling around the hallways and passing out in narcoleptic fits, all of which Dimitry and Tremaine had great fun toying with, e.g. rushing at Lance with a sense of urgency to paralyze what little of his motor skills remain. Look for these Lance bits to hit the website in the next few weeks while we recuperate.
